** JACEK WÓJCICKI - Jacek Wójcicki has held a unique position on the Polish music market for years. Endowed with acting talent and a voice with a characteristic tenor timbre, he moves with ease through many genres and musical styles. Each of his concerts is bound together by his unique stage personality, creating a colourful, full of contrasts, bravura show.
Jacek on stage becomes a fascinating demon of happy and sad song. Go and watch him perform! Admire! Invite him home!
This is how it was heralded at Piwnica pod Baranami by the legendary founder and long-time director of the cabaret, Piotr Skrzynecki. Nothing has changed since then. Jacek is just as demonic and passionate about contrasts: the comic and the lyrical. Today, just as when he made his debut in Piwnica, he is worth listening to and admiring. He performs with some of the biggest stars on the scene, including Grażyna Brodzińska, Małgorzata Walewska and Beata Rybotycka, with whom he has created his own recital. He has also participated as a guest artist in "Nieszpory Ludźmierskie" by Jan Kanty Pawluśkiewicz and "Woła nas Pan" by Włodzimierz Korcz. As an actor (a graduate of the Kraków State Theatre Academy, he revealed his talent in the famous "Piwnica pod Baranami"), we have seen him in such films as S. Spielberg's "Schindler's List", M. Łazarkiewicz's "The Last Bell", the TV series "Children from the Mill Valley" and "Urvises from the Mill Valley", as well as TV programmes, including "Kabaret Olgi Lipińskiej", Zbigniew Górny's galas, etc. He also created the unforgettable character of Mr Tenorko - the hero of children's programmes on TV.
